Modus, a leading provider of eDiscovery and Information Governance services, announced today that all Modus services and current technology solutions have been ISO certified. This includes an expanded scope to reflect the addition of Information Governance and Artificial Intelligence into Modus services.
ISO 27001:2013 is an information security standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards, and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Modus eDiscovery’s certification was issued by A-LIGN, an independent and accredited certification body based in the U.S., after successful completion of a formal audit process. This certification is evidence that Modus eDiscovery has met rigorous international standards in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data collection and management, eDiscovery production services and advanced management of information security.
“The ISO 27001 certification confirms the controls Modus has established to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of client information. We take these controls very seriously and have augmented these to also comply with FedRAMP requirements. This is unique in eDiscovery and Information Governance. This certification reflects collaboration across our leadership team and commitment from all of our team members. Security and best practices go hand in hand which is why we take a holistic approach,” says John Crites, CIO of Modus.
