Senior Project Manager

Department: Operations

Reports to: Director of Client Services

Location: Remote within the United States

Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for internal and external collaboration with team members, clients, opposing counsel, IT personnel and/or client legal team(s) to ensure the timely and accurate execution of eDiscovery tasks required per client contract. This position additionally will serve as the leader of the pod to which they are assigned to provide guidance and expertise when requested by the Director of Client Service. Furthermore, this position would be responsible for cross-serving in other pods as needed to provide backup support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing oversight of multiple, concurrent discovery matters and serving as a primary client point of contact for each client assigned to you for the lifecycle of each project.
  • Ensuring the effective use of the Modus litigation support technologies including proprietary platforms and industry standard software suites.
  • Coordinating with consultants, third-party vendors to ensure proper delivery of services to case teams.
  • Identifying, tracking, and providing expertise and consultative advice regarding data collections, processing, review workflows, analytics, production/export deliverables, new legal technologies and related processes.
  • Organizing and running client calls and status updates on a scheduled and/or as needed basis.
  • Defining, communicating, implementing and monitoring quality standards on all project deliverables.
  • Communicating professionally with clients and translating expectations and request to the internal resources.
  • Training New hires on team systems
  • Managing clients and expectations through proactive approaches and organization of projects
  • Internal resource for Client Services team for best practices in case management and productions
  • Responsible for detailed billing on all assigned projects
  • Run Active Learning and TAR Review projects, leveraging structured analytics for client specific workflows
  • Consistently achieve utilization targets



  • BA/BS degree or minimum of 5 years in the litigation support / legal industry.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of Relativity review platform.
  • Relativity Certified Administrator certification preferred.
  • Availability to work during evenings or weekends as needed. This is based on a rotation schedule.
  • Significant years of experience managing several, concurrent projects which include the collaboration between teams in other internal and external departments.
  • Demonstrated experience and proven success in adopting a “customer focused” organization and ability to work with operations and technical teams.
  • Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner while simultaneously remaining within the boundaries of budget expectations.
  • Capability to manage client satisfaction and expectations throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Proactive mentality and approach that lends to anticipation of client needs and providing custom solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills to quickly and effectively assess and resolve problems.
  • Communication and collaboration skills, both written and oral, which lend to strong teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and empowered environment.
